Oh well, I can't really complain, I got it fairly cheapish.[/quote:lsljfelm]

WTF!!!...your a animal Ginny...lol.... [Image Can Not Be Found] Is that from heavy "Decade" landings[/quote:lsljfelm]

Ginny man,

You're gonna have to bite the bullet and get something proper. If I were you I'd go custom solid. Email them the pics of what you've done to frames and the specs of what you want and they'll mock something up and give you a price estimate. Worth a shot right?

Nothing's gonna cut it for you unless it's over 4lbs. It's just not gonna happen mate. Get your frame sorted and try and drop weight somewhere else. You can't live like this anymore!!! I'm not saying become a tank driver like me - just give a little bit on the weight side and take some from the 'I'm not waiting around for parts to be delivered department'.

Not trying to be rude or anything but you have broken some many parts - it's such a lot of money!!!!!! You've probably spent more money on parts than Ben Moran has spent in his whole life so far!!!

^^^
God damn it! That isn't a joke! I've just realised that that is because I give Ben Moran parts and he breaks those instead!!!!!! [Image Can Not Be Found] [Image Can Not Be Found] [Image Can Not Be Found]

Bens are destined to break parts, what can we say more?

haha

Any Idea how much a custom solid runs in at? Are we talking ridiculous thousand dollar marks or what?

Depends how wacky you get with them.

Mine was 420 bucks posted, unpainted. I chose all the important angles and lengths, and Huff just went with standard tubing diameters. Can't remember the diameters. Came perfect. Its going on two years of my grinds.

My friend Elliot also has one, he changed all his tubing diameters to the thicker one (0.049 maybe?) and I think his was around 500.
He also ordered some bars. They charged him 80 bucks, and h got two pairs (they make two in case they fuck one pair up, but both his were perfect so they sent him both.)

Email Huff at Solid, tell him what you want and he should get back to you pretty quick. Mine was 350 US for the frame, and 50 posted. Paint was an extra 20US. I got mine august 08 when the exchange rate was pretty high.

That sounds pretty mad, I'd go for just a standard diamond type, superlow profile type thing.

Top and bottom tubes not touching.
around 19- 19.2"tt
around 12.5- 12.6" CS
3/8" dropouts
75 HA, 73ST
Smallish OD on all the tubes,
spanish BB, BB farly high as well, I'm really liking how my badthing slimfit is feeling. It's an awesome frame, but yeah, I don't have the biggest amount af faith in it.

So almost something like the slim fit, (with a few angle differences) but the top and bottom tubes not touching

That should be cheaper than Kit's then I imagine... Sounds good - I'd get it painted though - or at least clearcoated... Kit - did you clearcoat your own???

Clearcoated myself. Ginny's actually sounds a like it would be a little more than mine, mine is closer to the standard AA geometry than Ginny's.

You need to take a look at the food chain again fledgling.

You'll see that June can make himself a part of our scene whenever he desires!

Haha...

No I'm joking - Melbourne is Welcome.

those abadthings are so prone to breaking...
noticed that most riders breaking bikes here are doing whoppers...
guess it comes down to what tricks your working on that determine how
long until your bike gives way...

Nice ride Mik! How's your arm now? Are you on High Street Thornbury still? I notice that looks like your studio maybe.
