Here's my 2c on the matter.
Before I moved to Melbourne and even before DUG (BMX Games). My main motivation to going to these events isn't the competition side but the chance to hang out and ride with people that you don't usually get to ride with. Every single time, I left feeling that I progressed (even slightly) and more motivated than before the trip.
Personally, I would prefer it being it more of a jam than a contest as over the years, I found that I ride more w/out the pressure of competition. In saying that, I will still be trying to come to as many as I can regardless of what format it is. Maybe because I came from NZ where we didn't have as many riders with a wide range of skillset/styles and not that many events that contain flatland. At the end of the day, I'm just looking forward to meeting new riders and seeing those that have become friends during the years.
Anyways, I would like to put my hand up and volunteer to help in any way that I can for the DUG events to happen. Just ask and I'm more than happy to [Image Can Not Be Found]

Summer hill
Sydney
Series 4 round 1 DownUnderGround
11am - 1pm competition (for those who which to compete)
1pm - 6pm open jam session (for those who come to ride)
After some good thinking I cannot see why the above format will not suit all.
Come for the comp or the jam, whatever come for flatland in Australia before we all get old and can

I will come to this if I can nab some cheap flights and possibly crash at someones house. I'm also going to Singapore for 11 days to ride bmx with Anton, Draken ect on Sunday. Once I get all my important shit together with uni and such i'm happy to assist with organising dug.
P.S. I'm moving to canada for 10 months I think.
