I recently took a 99er seat off my Dyno to put on my MTB since the rails on the MTB snapped. Put that down to poor quality or me weighing 115kg lol

Pumped my tyres up, tightened the stem, and wiped it down with kitchen towell. Even rode it for a few hours!!

Put on some higher bars (thanks Bielecki) - my back has been thanking me ever since (its taking me a long time to admit my old low-as magicfruits weren't doing me any favours!)
Put on some new front pegs - griptape twentys from Newcircle (retired my massive mid-school primos) - Thanks Shane!

Front end now feels a bit more snappy and responsive [Image Can Not Be Found]

Does anyone have any or advice or tips for working on the federal coaster with khe internals and female axles, bit too much slip in there for my liking - I haven't been able to find much online.. Anything would be appreciated..

Stripped the paint off my forks and bars. Gave my puppy a green tail. Put my cassette on instead of my coaster - already want the coaster back. 30-9 is a mans ratio. Wired a hubguard on. Greased my powerbites. Something is rattling in the back and I'm yet to figure out what it is.

Rode some trails for a bit too. Dirt can get fucked with no brakes and skinny tyres.

Good thread!

This week I put a 2.35" Arron Ross tire on the front - then filed the steerer tube a bit because there was hardly any clearance.

I also had to get a new internal headset because the other one died.

Regreased my bb bearings and cleaned the bb in general.

Tri-flowed up the chain.

Pulled a dent out of rear rim with a shifter.

Changed my rear tube because I got a big hole in it from glass - Newtown...

Changed the height of my seat a bit - slightly lower.

Added a hair elastic that I found to my handlebar string collection.

Cleaned it and touched it up with some black spray paint here and there.

You could say it's been a big week!!!!!! Usually I don't have to touch it!

Just applied some Freestyle Now stickers to my frame, feel like I've been initiated into the fold! (free stickers and a couple of half hikers totally made my day today) [Image Can Not Be Found]

The scene here in Perth may be small but there are some great dudes out this way.

How to on the KHE site is pretty good. Make sure you don't get any grease on the part of the clutch that grips the hub shell. I've had a few KHE hubs and I find that I am happy with the maximum gap possible (top hat washer only)

Got to ride again soon Fritz!!! I've got your number - not in Syd right now. Thinking about DUG - making moves and shit. Looking forward to getting Syd crew together again.

Running 4 pegs again now after six months to do some shows. Felt weird on the first ride but fully used to it again now. In two minds about keeping all of them on though because I was stoked on the challenge of trying to make legit flatland happen with pegs on one side only.

Got some new S&M grips from Shaun. They're so orange!!! Bike's getting all colourful again. Two purple pegs, two pink pegs, green sprocket and orange grips. Well fruity mate!!!!!!

I had to drill out that fucking rounded allen key bolt in my colony stem (one of the ones that clamps the forks). My headset was getting really sloppy, I had to fix it.

Finally got it out after much talking dirty to it and after snapping a drill bit and scarring my nice looking carbon headset spacer, I could finally get an extractor to bite the hole. [Image Can Not Be Found]

*I flipped the front tyre to get it to start wearing the other side, I do heaps of turbine pumping stuff and everything I do is really tight clockwise (my girlfriend likens it to zoolander....) [Image Can Not Be Found]

*I'm going to get a new sick-arse chain soon to replace my stretched to buggery one I have now.

I bought a heap of new parts for my next ride that I haven't started to work on yet...
I was gonna put a new chain on to my g9 but looked at my ol' faithful cheap black chain and decided it had more life in it yet...
it was even the correct size ready to go [Image Can Not Be Found]
