[quote="bloodhound.system.32":3pzc3qgq]Yeh, the bars are hot.
You use a dirt harry for flat? [Image Can Not Be Found]
And trim that front cable!
You bastard!! I want a black bike now!! [Image Can Not Be Found][/quote:3pzc3qgq]
thanks what about the dirty harry i find it quite nice, i can't stand the feeling of near crushing my other fingers with the end of the lever, and getting like it caught up.
hehe, thanks i like black, also i love the bars there most comfortable set ive ever ridden for myself atleast.
yeah the seats way to big, it feels quite awkward to hold so im looking for something smaller and more manageable, thats still comfortable. I'm probably getting a primo hemmoroid for 20 soon off a mate, aslong as it goes through.

I thought that dirt harrys were a 1 finger lever?
Its just that when I use my brake (tech 99), I pull the lever with all 4 fingers, this in turn makes me grab the entire lever and grip with my whole hand. I feel it makes it way way more stable.
But, if it works for you bully... keep it up! <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s -->

oh yeah, the dirty harry is the tech 99, just double bent or something i just like the extra leverage, that's interesting, if you use your whole hand on the lever how do you keep from pulling it slightly, and say like feathering it, when you don't want it to? any technique? or just what's natural for you?

that's where i got mine by the way, yeah your thinking of the gold finger as a 1 finger, it looks like not enough leverage but who knows.

Well, the way I have learnt to use brakes is to just jam them on, then try and jump to a different part of the bike somewhere,... I never learnt to 'feather' them.
However, the simple thing is that I barely use the brakes, I rode for around 2 and a bit years without them. It's just good to mix things up a bit. [Image Can Not Be Found]
I want to eventually run brakeless, coz somethings are near impossible to [b:9aum5lbi]learn[/b:9aum5lbi] without them.

same here, i cant feather the brakes, if i touch em i pull em and dont let go... dirty harrys are 2 finger leavers, they are the same as a tech 99 but with an extra bent, thats why they are called Dia-tech 99 Dirt Harry...
the bike looks very nice joel, just get a new seat and cut the cable down they you will look pro.. lol
