Now that... NOW THAT, is pretty mental.... [Image Can Not Be Found]
No brakes, skinny road tyres, on what looks like a 27" road racing bike...
Blenders, upsidedown wheelies, pedaling dumptruck things.. circles, figure eights, spins... fark!!
So dialled and flowing... did you see everytime she did a figure 8, she intersected directly through the middle of the circle on the court.. everytime.. [Image Can Not Be Found]
A rather large variation of unicycle tricks.. There is some basic tricks you [b:15p9vip3]can't[/b:15p9vip3] do on that bike though.. Standard manuals for example. It's got some sort of 'unlocked coaster' wheel. (pedal backwards and the bike goes backwards.)
Awesome though, makes me want to do a lot of on the pedal stuff!!! [Image Can Not Be Found]

Yeah, that's like the roots of flatland; people have been doin that kinda stuff on bikes like that for ages... tho, their usually in circuses and what-not.
The thought that came to my mind tho is that people pay to see that (and, it's worth paying for, I'm not saying it's not) but, say Simon was just having a bit of a ride for fun, people would just walk by him as though it were nothing they hadn't seen before... Anyone else noticed that? (I saw it in clips of Rodney Mullen too, who I consider a friend of flatland [Image Can Not Be Found])

I saw that when we went to Bondi on the day off at BMX Games this year. People just walking past not giving a fuck (and a lot of the time right in the way). It's that they dont think its something special, they just dont give a fuck.
Yet I could ride by myself and and have someone tell me how impressed they are at MY riding and my riding is very limited. Now that doesnt make sense.

I dunno, I just thought it was just them trying not to be rude (y'know, like not staring) but then there were skate boarders down at the water-front that were only able to like kick-flip and stuff and there was a huge crowd around them so... I dunno
Not like we're tryin to please them tho eh? Flataldn's more masturbation I guess (can't remember where I heard that...)

[quote="Todd":39jq4hm6]Fucking romans. They just Walk straight though without looking and then have a go at us.[/quote:39jq4hm6]
worse is when you actually see that they see you doing something and they still continue walking right in the middle of where you're riding. the least they can do is change their course but noooo. for some reason they expect us to move out of the way for them. pfft.

Yeah, I know what it's called and I know it's nothing compared to flatland but I wouldn't be suprised if that was what INSPIRED the first flatlander to start doing new stuff and putting into combos and whatever else... That's what I meant by it's the roots of flatland

that is not what inspired the "first" flatlander
the first flatland rider[b:2b8lywb3]S[/b:2b8lywb3] were people who wanted to be doing things (like progressing) on the bike when they wernt racing.
in the wrold of freestyle bmx, artictic cycling is nothing but more cunts in bed with the UCI!!!!!!!!!!!!!
