My airwalks finally died, too much shoe to tyre. They did me good, much better than expected.
Any recommendations on a cheap, quality replacement?

What about these?
Not best but good value for money.

To be honest Chucks are pretty bad. They don't really offer enough padding.

I'm kinda keen on hightops because the airwalks really protected my ankles doing cross footed tricks and so forth.

Hi top Adidas with the "M" tread. My last 2 pairs cost me $75 each.

Nike Mid top flights.

Both are popular with a lot of riders.

Shane.

Dc Tactic mids. The sole is the best.

Get something with a hard sole, because that's what I like, which means you should too. Fuck Vans.

Adio is the one that I like the best but there's not many good designs at the mom...
Have heard good things about 6.0...
Depends on what your looking for in a shoe...
Personally I need sole support but want to be able to feel where on foot the peg is...

I go through shoes really quickly for some reason. Usually max 3 months out of a pair. I'm more on the cheap vibe to be honest. I don't like to pay over $60 because I never get more than about 3 months. I find gum soles to be quite hard wearing. If you want a pair of 6.0's let me know - I'm working at Hell on Wheels tomorrow. They are a real bargain at $60 and I can put you a pair aside. Size 10? There are a few in that size both hi-top and regular I think.

They are like this but there come in heaps of different colour ways:

Yeah love them. I've been using Adidas straight for 6 years now. Before that I always "searched" for my perfect shoe. I tried a lot: Osiris, Lakai, Vans, DC, Emerica, Nike, Orchid, Etnies, Puma etc. But soon as I tried Superstar II's they worked perfect. Then when I started using hi-tops, worked better again.

Got a pair of those Nike's from Hell on Wheels through Paul.
Couldn't beat that price/supporting an australian shop.

I have honestly been running etnies callicuts since the start of my outlandishly prosperous flatland career. [Image Can Not Be Found]

I just got used to them, everytime I wear some out, I can but a pair from anywhere in the same size, and I know they will fit. I get the lamest gheyest design usually coz it's cheap.

They last a while so hey, I'm down with them. [Image Can Not Be Found]
