[quote="rully":1th7f4lp]araya super 7x?
36h chrome
usd20 each
these are the same as other super 7x but the chrome is made in indonesia (japan has strict policy regarding environment poisoning, so araya moved the chrome somewhere else). so yeah,.. it's shitty hahaha[/quote:1th7f4lp]

Odyssey hazard lite rims are an excellent choice. I think they are stronger than the others, and are available in a variety of options.
Even Flatland Fuel thinks they are the best choice. Odyssey rims, KHE hubs, stainless spokes, 36 or 48 , strong and light. Everyone has a different opinion , but thats my 2 cents worth, anyway.

they are 100% new.
by 'shitty' i mean the chrome quality is nowhere near the others. the rim itself is made in Japan. only the chrome process was in Indonesia. i guess it doesn't matter if you're running brakeless and won't mind the look of your rims less shiny [Image Can Not Be Found] a few polishing activity will brighten the chrome by a lot.
here's mine like 2.5 years ago

They are very strong, but Hazard Lites have gay sharp edges on them though. Not the best rim espcially for things like hitchhikers and backpackers.

Good point Todd. Didn't realise it has uncomfortable edges. If I do upside down stuff I hold the pegs, hence why I didn't know.
I'm still not of the Jedi order yet [ the double footed rolling club ] but I'm workin on it. Once I too am Jedi , I may start complaining about my rims. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s -->
