Fuck oath!!!
I don't run Primos, i run Ares Arestic cranks which are Primo knockoffs.
Is it an original Primo TI spindle?
And how much would ya want?

Don't forget you often need new bolts to suit the Ti spindles.

Thats weird.

It says "These are replacement crank spindle bolts for the hollow chromoly Primo spindle and titanium spindles from Primo and Profile."

I already have Primo spindle bolts for my cromoly spindle that im running now, therefore i wouldn't need to buy what i already have!!!

But then! It goes onto say "*If you have a Primo crank with solid chromoly spindle you will need these bolts when upgrading to a titanium spindle"

LIKE WTF???????

Ok, there's two types of spindles, a chromoly and a ti version.

A hollow spindle, a ti spindle, and a solid spindle.

Hollow and ti version use the same bolts, but the solid crmo version uses different bolts.

I can't think how to explain what flatland fuel said any more detailed, so I'll leave it at that.
Got it? <!-- sLaugh --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="Laugh" title="Laughing" /><!-- sLaugh -->

If not lets sum it up, take your spindle out, look down the bolt hole, if you can see out the other end your good to go, if not you need them.

All spindles come in solid or hollow, sometimes its not mentioned if its solid or not. A hollow chro mo spindle is just grams heavier than a solid ti spindle. Dont expect an alloy spindle to withstand much pressure. A cheapskates way to lighten your spindle is to get someone to drill it out hollow in a lathe, but be careful not to damage the threads.

Companies change spindles sometimes so really check if yours is hollow when buying a spindle or crankset. A hollow ti or chro mo spindle is still extremely strong, in case anyone was wondering. The only two things I dont trust with cranks is alloy spindles and plastic bbs.

Mik doesn't go online as much now, but to keep you updated, I rode with him at IMAX on Sunday and he's planning on getting the St Martin cranks asap and you'll be able to get his spindle then. I think it wont be long now Shizm. He posted his phone number in the Rip 4 sale thread, so you can always just ring him.
