Kit that sounds perfect for now. Can you bring to the IMAX next time please. I'll give you a kiss for it.
Thanks Carl!
It's just the top locking nut yes.
I'd say it's more midschool if I'm going to be anal about the whole thing. It's a 1990-1991 Powerlite Freestyler - it's pre 990 lugs anyway.
It's all been repowder coated blue and white and has an original sticker set.
I've got blue tuffs but don't have all of the internals for the backwheel. I heard that I can convert it to take a freewheel but I'm not sure where I would get the piece to do that.
I'm going to put spoked wheels on it for now. I might just buy some repro sealed tuffs in the future though. . .

Paul, to get old school parts, one place that has this stuff is bicycle recycle in Moorabin, 15 mins drive from Melb. They have all sorts of old school stuff as well as new stuff.
If you ask for an old part, they bring out a bucket load of the parts you need and search through it yourself. They will have anything you need for your project.

i have an old standard shorty(94/95) sitting in my yard with a 49cc motor bolted on to the back of it... the only problem is that it doesn't have a wheel anymore as the old tuff wheel hit something at about 50ks and smashed up... working on a new wheel for it though... when its going again ill take a pic and post it... so far the top speed from my bike computer is 62kph <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s -->
i have some old shit laying around... got a few sets of original but worn DX pedals too [Image Can Not Be Found]

Ok first off is it a suntour or bendix coaster?
secondly are you reffering to the jb freewheel mod?
you'd have to really keep your eyes on the bay, but you can always just do the old free coaster conversion, by takeing out the pads.
sounds like could be an interesting build not a big fan of powerlite personally, just never appealed to me negative or positively.
nobody has an 87,88 gt pro perforormer or tour floating around?
And brett were you running a freewheel hub on yours? or coaster brake, or wouldn't it matter, did you have a preference on colours or was it just a heap you through together?
