Is this frame still available for sale? I'm an old school flatlander looking to get back into riding, I currently have an old school Standard lenghty which is not ideal and was looking for something more flatland orientated.
I would be happy to pay you for the frame plus postage.
p.s. where in brisbane do you ride flatnatics? and do you ride night or day?

I tried to give the frame to a newbie or someone that couldn't afford one for a few months and couldn't find any takers. I then tried to sell it for a hundred bucks and still no takers, so I gave up after a few months and I'm now setting it up as a flat/park bike and have already bought a stack of parts for it. Sorry dude, just a few weeks earlier and I'd sell it to ya cheap.

Oldschooler, I have some news. I have an Ares available for maybe $80 or $90 if you like, plus postage. It was from Jasons bike, which was a tad heavy, but its now divided amongst four bikes now and all thats left is the frame, these frames aren't the lightest frames but if you use light parts , it will be O.K. Its yellow and has a tt of around 18.75 I think.

I'm 33. I used to ride in Sydney upto about 13 yrs ago.Back then I rode mainly in Blacktown, with guys like Neil Johnson and Chris(can't remember his last name) and a few others. Rode with Vinnie Pugh in the city once a week.
When I came to Brissie,, I mainly mucked around at Beenleigh on the mini but was never that serious. I slammed on a ramp in Sydeny back in about '91 and was of the bike for about 3 months. my riding suffered and I never fully got back into the swing of things. All these yrs I have felt something is missing and have wanted to get back into riding and I'm now biting the bullet and doing it.
I also used to ride with Ethan Innes and so many others back in Sydney and we'd have big jams in the city on Sundays. (Riding at Martin Place and then busking at Circular Quay). So many good memories.
I am currently organizing a bike thru the forums, as the bike Ihave is not really suited. (don't know how far back you go, but I 10yrs ago I bought Damien Nielson's old translucent blue Standard Lengthy.)
I am keen to meet up with other riders in Brissie (preferably older riders) as I think it is easier to get back into a sport if you know other people who are doing the same. Once I get my get my bike together I will send you a pm (if thats ok?) to see if we can meet up for a ride.
I am very old school tho as you can imagine, and as to how long its been, i will probably have to spend months relearning everything from the past, so I hope you don't mind have a total beginner riding with you. <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_redface.gif" alt="" title="Embarassed" /><!-- s -->
