Hi all
As some of you already know, an idea has been lingering in my head to organise one massive road trip for the nz and aus riders (or whoever else wants to come). it was originally for next year but due to unfortunate circumstances, it fell through.
The basic plan is to organise a roadtrip that will span from Auckland-Wellington-Auckland-Sydney-Melbourne. This will cover events such as a jam i'll organise here in NZ, X-Air 2007 and BMX Games 2007. Of course with more riding and whatever else in between.
i just want to get an idea how many people are interested in this? i ask now to give you guys time to save up and stuff. as mentioned before, its open to everyone. the more the better. fun wise and financially as well [Image Can Not Be Found]
Any thoughts and comments welcome. I'm keen for this to happen.

I am definately down for this!!!
I've always wanted an excuse to go for a trip somewhere, especially NZ, but its a bit boring to do by myself. Count me in for sure.....
Should get a good road trip vid from it too.

Man I would LOVE to go; that sounds freakin awesome!! But, I'll need dates and stuff (cos, my end of year exams might be cutting it a little close... or, if it's on the other end of the spectrum, uni) not to mention the fact that I don't have a job yet
BUT, if I can sort all of that out, then definately count me in!

lol fair statement. although i was thinking doing more of the 'road tripping' within NZ (Auckland to Wellington) and Aus (Sydney to Melbourne). jumping no a plane from NZ to Aus all together doesn't sound too bad to me [Image Can Not Be Found]

Yeah, flights are fairly cheap as long as booked early.
I just looked on Flightcentre.com.au and its less than $450 return.
That ends up being a cheap trip if we all stick together on the other stuff like accommo, etc.
Also transport probably wont be an issue as im sure the NZ people can organise it over there and Aussies over here, regarding cars and the such.....

Around 10 hours. I did it a few weeks back by myself and its not that bad. Much better with others though.
