It was very stressful due to complications with the equipment and having to change some of it at the last minute, but it was a good day. Such good riding from the Japanese guys. I'd never seen multiple brakeless jumplashes in real life before so I'm stoked! Mao was doing them the hard(er) way too, where the bike comes around behind you. Super original riding from him all round!
I didn't get to ride and now I'm sick because of the long day and maybe stressing or not eating or something like that but it's all good. The video will reflect how much others enjoyed the event. Lot of people without bikes and not riding on the day but it was really cool to see everybody after worrying that maybe nobody would come...
