Awesome comp, awesome crowd and nice amounts of cheering. The stands were actually filled for the comps!!!! Plus a couple riders I expect to see stepping up to pro next year.
Well done to Tim Hall (timguyperson) for 1st place in AM and Twaff for 2nd. I forget the rest for AM sorry.
As for pro, Simmo makes it a 4peat only just scrapping in above Mike S (very close. Not even 1 point) and Damon in 3rd.
Next year should be even better with a few riders expected to enter that didnt this year. We may actually have qualifiers. Good or bad to have to qualify is your own choice, but to me I think it gives the impression that were a legitimate part of the comp and not just an add on event that it may seem from the outside in.

Just got back to brissy, comp was awesome. Can't believe the stuff the pros were pulling, and 15 amatuers all doing friggen sweet tricks too. I was pretty stoked at getting 1st, I think it must have been a close call because there were some bloody good riders there. Few that didn't enter which I reckon would have beaten me pretty easily. I didn't pull every trick that I wanted to but I got some alright links. But it was definitely a good feeling getting presented with a 1st place trophey and a new bike, and having even Mike S congradulate me and shake my hand.
All the riders I have to say are top blokes even though at first I thought WTF! Trust me if the first thing u'd seen when the door opened to the riders hotel room is bilecki naked then u'd be thinking wtf! too lol.
But luckily there were plenty of other good memories to push that one out of my mind [Image Can Not Be Found]
I learnt some new stuff down there, got a lot to get me thinking and a fair bit of stuff to try. Gonna hit it pretty hard and see if I can't up my riding level for next years games.
Thanks to everyone that helped me out with stuff down there, the whole weekend was friggen awesome.

Yeah, the games were an awesome experience. My first Games, but i'll be back next year for more fun and 2-wheel action. Congrats to Tim for first place, he pulled off some sick links. Who could forget Zelda's little helper, and the fastest bowler in the West..!! lol Or should I say... 'ROFLMAO' The Pro riders are crazy to watch. Steingraber got his run down in the end, with much applause, and Damon pulling those spinning pedal-upsidedown wheelies... you gotta see it to believe it.
Good on everyone for making the trip to Sydney, and supporting our sport. It was great meeting a whole bunch of new riders, both Pro and AM, and im looking forward to seeing ya'll next year [Image Can Not Be Found] Keep ridin'...!!!

Well, I only ended up getting to see the last 15 mins of the am competition but I saw every last second of the pro comp and, I must say, I was really impressed with my first bmx games! I will deffinately be entering AM next year (yeah, I know I suck at the moment.. but a years worth of practice shoud see me getting there with at least some decent links!
Haha, I just knew that the elf hadda be one of our mob!

One more left in sydney. Then hopefully somewhere else. I cant fucking wait.
I had a great time. Hotel prank calls. Stories off nakedness. Seeing "dacks down" in the middle of hyde park. Hooters. Side-boob. Kababs. Horse heads. Reversing into a pole in a hire car. The best bunch of flatlanders ever.
Im kickin' it in an internet cafe in the city. Gotta wait 5 hours for my flight. Gonna go see some shit movie. Lates.
