Hey guys, just wondering what the deal is.
I heard rumours as such lol, but wanted to know for sure.
If there isn't one, i reckon all of us should get together after the games for a ... little... drink! what ya's reckon?

Apparently there's a few bar type places in and around the Olympic Park facilities.
I'd imagine seeings the Novatel and Ibis are sponsoring the event that a few people might congregate at one of these places.

Since Im staying at the Novotel, I was planning on just drinking at their bar. Cant be fucked running around a city I dont know drinking all night and then getting a taxi not knowing if he's jerking me around taking the long cut to charge extra.
Hell, I'm not really a fan of walking around bar to bar here in Adelaide. Nearly had wogs on our ass last year. All I wanted to do was shake this guys hand for having a nice car and his wog friend didnt like it haha.

well, i still feel like getting up to something after you know.
Do you need to be staying at one of the hotels (ibis...) to drink there? whats the deal?

sorry for resurrecting an old topic here....i just found it funny... if anyone remembered the crazy antics at the brewery beneath novotel at x games in 2001 they wouldnt have even bothered asking about an after party!!!

There was some antics this year also. It took half and hour and 8 or 9 other bmxers to calm down a certain rider by the initials of P R and 1 rider to get the bar staff to shut the fuck up and not fuel the fire.
Was all good though, they got kicked out of the hotel altogether soon after lol.
