Heinlein was good in writing starshiptroopers but I reakon Arthur C. Clarke should get a vote first for kubricks 2001 space odyssey whciih he worked on, but Isaac Asimov is cool.

ron l hubard was a tool. scientology is so funny and really quite gay (in man on man sence)
Heinlein is the best! his male charicters are always hemen and his ideas are by far the best i have read. stranger in a starnge land is so cool i think i gronk it! hes not afraid to let humanaty suffer
Arthur Clark is cool to but i can help thinking that after he came up with a cool idea or story he went off and touched up a little boy
i just love Asimov

Read some Raymond E Feist and you'll realise you cant read anything else. Well, thats happened to me. I tried to read an old favorite Clive Barker, but just couldnt get into it, I pick up Feist and enjoy it right away.

Douglas Adams just takes it over Asimov.
they've both got crazy imaginations and while Azimov amazes the hell out of me (especially in his short stories) Adams is inventive AND hilarious.
I dunno who'd win a fist fight though
