Does anyone know the part number for KHE reverse coaster driver bearings? Cause I have somehow shredded mine to pieces and need new ones. So it's either about $25 for new bearings or like $500 for a whole new wheel

Get the ceramic bushing kind - If you can't find the part get another driver.

Did the bearings break or are they just rough?

If they broke you will need a bearing puller to get the outer race out.

Thanks kit I'll check that out this week and see if your right.

And I've pretty much detroyed the bearings that were in there. The guy that pulled my wheel apart to fix it said there was nothing left of them to get a part number from.

Troy - Your hub may be finished. You need to check and see if any parts of your hub are ground or pitted in any way and see if the mechanism works smoothly.

The reason being is that when the bearings crack they can go into the hub where they will get ground up. The bearings and the bearing races are made of a very hard steel which will grind up other parts of the hub whilst disintegrating themselves - and totally screw your hub up in the process. This happened to one of the KHE coasters that I had. I ended up having to buy a new axle and driver which is pretty much the same price as a new hub.

If you buy new bearings definitely get the ACB like I suggested or the same thing will happen again after a few sessions. KHE knows the bearings in the driver are too small but want to push this product anyway...

Thanks Paul, I'll get it checked out before I run it again. I think I did the same thing to my last KHE. But back then I had a reloader coaster so me and a mate fiddled with it and got the 10t driver from the reloader into the reverse. Still skipped heaps though. Hopefully new bearings is all it needs. Find out tomorrow *fingers crossed*
