I see it all the time. Someone starts a thread asking about something and the forum nazi enters the fray spouting off how "This has been discussed before" and then suggests you do a search.

Ok, heres my issue. this usually happens on larger boards where everything has been done before anyway and you may as well not post new topics ever again. Infact, someone has probably suggested doing a search before, why dont you fuckin search for that?
I can understand if it was recently discussed and is only on page two of the forum, but when they refer you to a topic that hasnt been posted to in something like 8 or 9 months, it really shits me.

Example[/url:1cbqgz2f, how the hell are you supposed to find anything amongst someting like this where threads still linger after 58 pages,86 pages or 28 pages and so on?

Why bother with this message board? if only we all did a google search we could find another message board.
