Explain to me how Aussie rules is only about the 4th or 5th most popular sport in Australia, yet gets the most media coverage by far.
It's behind golf, netball and soccer. Yet they get nowhere near the exposure afl does.
I cant stand any form of football. Rugby seems a game of, get the ball and run head first into your opponent, give it to a team mate so he can do the same.
Soccer. Running around for an hour and a half for a nil all draw?? kinda boring.
AFL. I question any sport that suspends players just coz they abuse the umpire. Get some sleeves and longer shorts for fuck sake.
Ice Hockey and BMX are the only sports I give a fuck about.

aussie rules gets shit all coverage in NSW and QLD because they're league states. That's where most of the population is and we hardly get any AFL on tv, its all late night filler. Thats probly got a lot to do with it.

i can't stand foot ball (or anything to do with it) AT ALL!! ...I mean, let's take AFL as an example... It's a sport where the aim of the game is to steal a ball from your opponent (prefferably after climbing all over him) and get it through a couple of white posts. Everyone pats another guy on the ass at least once every game. And, they seem to be above the law when it comes to assulting women (it's like, the judges go "well, he's comitted an awful crime so, let's take him away from the thing he loves most; getting patted on the ass by other guys)
It's all one big joke (literally)
