i have been looking at which flights to book, was hoping to book them in the next few weeks...
with or without dug you should go with this contest jimmy...
i will be going and im sure that a most will go too if you keep going with the direction that your heading...
have been talking to a few of the other Brissy boys and i think that most will make the trip...
what your doing is Bold so keep with it Jimmy...
set a new bench mark for the aussie flat contests that have been going on...

i 100% agree with what Brett's saying. i, too, will be definitely be there during your comp so that's one more person. it would be nice if DUG is to happen in the same weekend (or close) as well. that's just icing on the cake. the main reason i fly up year after year is not to ride in the comps (i don't progress fast enough to keep up with all of you ) but it's to ride with the riders and hang out. that's what it's all about for me. i think it's a big part of what keeps me motivated.

all the things that you're doing right now, Jimmy, are great and i urge you to keep at it. as i mentioned before, if you need any help, i will be willing to do as much as i can even though i live across the sea haha.

I'm not in any position, financially, to be flying East from W.A. for 2 different competitions spaced so close together, and since I'll be at every other D.U.G. this year, I would most likely go to the DUG rounds. No offence to Jimmy whatsoever, because I think it's awesome what he's done, and there's nothing I love more than travelling East to hang out with riders and compete, but I can't afford two $600 tickets, so close together.

Chatting with some of the other W.A. riders yesterday, they seem to be in the same boat, so if the two comps aren't on the same weekend, there's a high chance that none of the W.A. riders will be at Flattitude. Nooooooo!! Don't do this to us...!!

Stick the comps on the same weekend. It's guarenteed to attract more riders

and wish matty holmes would contact me and let me know what the hell is going on?

also with paul and the dug dates....he said to me he has something special planned but! is his special plan to suit himself or is it to suit the community?

australia day weekend is perfect for sooooo many rider's!

and what tweekend wrote is exactly what i mean.....$.....i have spoke with my wife about how this effects your pocket's and she wished the dug would just make dates
like a concert! atleast 3 months in advance is a minimal time for all too get the $ up especially you WA guy's where it only get's more exspensive the further you travel
and keeping that in mind is a huge factor for me.....i have looked at all fossets of how the dug could have something special and can't seem to comprehend how
anything special could better a date on australia weekend? but i hope paul isn't holding out to suit his return back to australia?

this is in now way a flame at paul or anyone! it's just my opinion's on what i have been told a seen.

Everybody should be booking flights to go to Melbourne for Flatitude on Australia Day weekend. We are a community guys. You will get more info on DUG soon but do not hold out and wait for it if there are deals and issues with work. The overall needs and wants of the community are the most important thing for all of us. It is the reason behind DUG and why we are taking a long time talking stuff over now. Flatitude exists for the exact same reasons as DUG guys.

What Jim has created is awesome. Right now it is the most exciting thing in Oz for me - other than the prospect of eating a decent avocado again maybe We want everybody to go - We want to go - In fact we are all going to go! Why on earth would we want to miss it - let alone want other people to miss it!!!

Saying that I will not be back in Oz for Flatitude but I will be manning the computer and helping to promote it online. I want everything BMX in Oz to always be a great success and make riders really happy.

I have to be back before May 14th 2010 for visa reasons. I picked up my permanent residents visa in London and that is my entry date. I hope I can get back way before that but who knows I need a job first but there is a huge mountain range in front of me. . . In the meantime though I am trying my best to make things work from right here.

flatitude is bigger than i thought and saying that! how could i even think of holding out on you guy's...i love the community and with that said "it's true"

i have loves in my life and flatland is one of them, it's right up there with my family and doner kababs

everything seems to be coming together, just spoke with matty holmes and all is good, i will be doing the flyer today and hopefully have it posted here their everywhere

Is anyone who is travelling to Melbourne keen to share a room at a hostel in the CBD with a few other riders..?? I'm gonna be in town from the Thursday morning, untill Monday arvo, and looking to book a 4-6 bed dorm at a City hostel. Brett has shown interest, but is not confirmed, so post up if ur serious, as I will need to book a room real soon, given that it will be over Australia Day weekend and room availability will be scarse.

Jimmy, I fully appreciate the offer to stay at ur place, but I wanna stay in the City Centre, as it makes it easier to go out at night, and back to a rest spot after a ride.

You're doing a great job there Jimmy. It takes alot of effort to pull it all together and its looking good with support from companies and a fantastic flyer.
