Any comments positive or negative welcome!!! It all helps.

I'll start. I'm totally stoked with this event but I'm a little concerned about the floor issues. I couldn't afford to spend $60 on some pegs just to ride for a weekend. What's the solution? The location is secure and sweet but what about the floor issues? We can work this out.

I'm sure someone has mentioned this earlier, somewhere, but will this event be tying in with the D.U.G. - 2 ??

Most of my money is being put away for my Mustang Project, but I love the opportunity and excuse to travel East to ride and mingle with the boys, so if I can kill 2 birds with one stone, I'm happy to put the money aside and book a ticket soon.

My goal is to make it to all the D.U.G. stops in 2010. Hopefully Shaun and mike will do the same, as I'm sure they will.

Was talking with Shaun last night, and it was a little sad to hear there are only 3 guys making the trip to Perth for the first stop. Sure, there was quite short notice with the comp date, and that may be a major factor in the small numbers travelling, but nonetheless, we will make the best of it and get the series underway.

Seems the Middies ladder will be topped with West Aus riders by the end of next weekend..!! Great start to the series, boys :)

I have good news about my presence at the event...
surprisingly I have had my holidays approved in 1 day for this weekend...
will book my tickets mid to late next month...
I can help judge the nov and inter classes if you want...
I already have plastic pegs and pedals but as for bar ends???
any way this floor needs some 3 ply or something laid down as it WILL
get marked and scuffed and then someone is gonna be in the shit(Jimmy)...
you seem to be doing a top job Jimmy and who ever is helping him, so keep it up!!!

after having just gone to jp last week Perth is a just, unfortunaly Ron cant make it this time...

I must say a big props to Jimmy for doing all the work. Its on the Sunday, and DUG is on the Saturday.

I'll buy 4 plegs if needed, and send them to poorer riders o.s afterwards.

I'll be judging and competing. My plan is to be more active in comps and jams again like before.

use a quality tape to hold it together or it will slide apart...
take a mop and some water to clean it down after each event(practice,begin,inter,etc...)
as it will get dusty...
sound like your doing a kick ass job so keep it up...
What part of Melbourne is this going to be???

It's a good location Brett. You can ride there from the city and there's loads of kickass cheap Vietnamese and African eateries around.

Hi Jimmy,

Sorry dude, my memory is not as good as it use to be!!! I think it is the old age.
hopefully I will be back in Jan but it is not confirmed yet, nice work on getting the indoor space, reminds me of the old skate ranch days.

Cheers

Alan

update -- no news from matty holmes and the flyer? the dug2
not being announced and leaving all the rider's to just be patient is a bit of a downer..:(

i have decided to hold out on the flatitude comp till further notice.

support is a must and when someone say's their going to do something! they should stick to it,
i feel the same about the parris dedication "t-shirt" i alone can't do it all.

this is why flatland will always be a small community...don't complain about park rider's and what they get from their community/shop/support because they all get involved and make sure their comps etc.. are a success.

this might sound bad! but from what happened i wouldn't blame anyone else if they quit either.
