I WANT TO SAY YOU GUYS REALLY DISSAPOINT ME
I MEAN HERE A PERSON TRYING TO RIDE AND PUT A JAM ON
WHAT IF I WENT AND MOVED TO MELBOURNE AND PUT A JAM ON
WOULD YOU SAY THE SAME THING TO ME.
SO HE BEEN RIDING ONLY 7 MONTHS OR SO
ATLEAST HE RIDES ALMOST EVERYDAY BY HIMSELF
AND TRIES TO PUT ON A JAM
DO I SEE ANY OF YOU GUYS DOING THAT
NO I DONT
HOW CAN YOU SHIOOT TALK ABOUT ANOTHER FLAT RIDER
LIKE THIS AND I MEAN DAMN
I THOUGHT THE MELBOURNE FLAT SCENE WAS COOL
AND STU AND SHANE BEEN TELLING ME ABOUT NICKY
AND THE REST OF THE FLAT RIDERS THERE
AND ALL I SEE ARE A BUNCH OF SHIT TALKERS
MICHAEL DOES NOT EVEN LIVE THERE SO I DONT
SEE HOW HE CAN BAG ON THIS FLAT RIDERS
YOU GUYS ARE PATHETIC TO THINK AND ACT THIS WAY
I ALWAYS STOKED TO GO TO A JAM EVEN IF IT IS SMALL
LIKE I DROVE 8 HOURS THERE AND 8 HOURS BACK TO
GO TO THE SAN DIEGO JAM WHICH 20 RIDERS SHOWED
UP AND THAT WAS VERY SMALL JAM SO 2 HOURS OR
WHATEVER IS NUTHING.
SUPPORT YOUR SCENE AND THE FLATLAND IN AUSSIE LAND

well, thanks for that matt.
do i strike you as a cunt?
do you think i'd act like this to anyone? cos if you do you missed the point.
what would you do if some kid who just arrived on the scene was constantley hassling people to not ride at the clock tower spot (or your own) but somewhere else, say Danville...
what would you do and how would you feel and act if this person said one thing to you and then did the other????? i think you would be a tad PO'ed to.
what would you do if you tried to help a rider click into the scene, but then that rider didnt just ignored the advice you gave him?
as you dont get it i would ask you not to make such a issue out of it.
oh btw, nick watts is a sole rider (from what i can tell), he riders for him self and nothing and no one else. we dont see him at our events or even for a ride on sunday. but hey, thats his bag, at least he isnt undoing the work some of us have been trying to do.

i am also a ne rider, and i have been following this story sinse the first post. i ahvent spoken up becuase i no my plae in the flatland world, and its to sit back and learn.
thumbs up and shouts out to ali. i have spoken to ali via msn messenager and he has been nothening but supportive of me coming along to the sunday sessions. i think that great for new riders to be invited and welcomed. i must mention i have only been riding for 2 years, and i dnt no many ticks. i think this new guy, not that i know you but, u should show some respect to ali and the rest of the flatlanders in melb.
i think setting up a jam is a huge deal, and ali is right u shold just leave it to guy who no wat they are doing. you havent even been riding for a year, which shows that u are very inexpericenced. i dnt think riders give a flying fuck about the amount of hours u put into flat. becuase really its not the hours you do, its the fun u have. flatland is an art it takes time, if u wana look cool, or be a fucking hero tryout for street or dirt. Flantland is small and will always be a small part of BMX becuase we ride alone, and we keep to ourselves.
to be honest this email is a shout out to ali, cuz i think you have done alot for flatland in melbourne, and for that thanks. Tina if u wana flat just ride, dnt be a fuckhead and disrespect other riders by setting up in on their turf.

Hmmm, little harsh.
Tina just has to remember that most of us are a lot older, stay out later, sleep in longer and are often hungover so don't like jamming before 2-3pm.
Also a few of us don't drive so a jam out in the sticks can be hard to get to. That's why we mainly ride centrally in the city because everyone who needs to can catch train into there.
